Purple Ray's flower

This series began with a bouquet of purple flowers I admired — I photographed the arrangement and broke it down to individual blooms, and that focus on single forms guided how I framed the trees here, isolating planes of color and the rhythm of branches. The composition conveys gentle resilience and a lingering, mysterious calm.
