Hidden pound

I keep walking around this pond to capture different angles. It appears unusual that his pawns remain in place, situated between a busy traffic area on one side and a relatively inaccessible apartment complex behind, with limited visibility, minimal landscaping, including few roses, and a privacy gate that seems more aesthetic than functional, as it can be easily circumvented.
